Server Location and Its Influence to SEO
Although server location isn’t sure how its influence in SERP (Search Engine Result Page), but it is recommended to choose the suitable server location for your blog. Otherwise, before setting up your blog its better to understanding the targeted visitor you will reach. Take for instance, if most of your targeted visitors would be in Usa, then you are recommended to choose the Usa server location, if your targeted visitor would came from UK then choose the server location in UK.
Let us learn how Google works. Many people have known that Google will choose for you the nearest location of their service where you use. For example if you are in UK then if you type Google.com in address bar, it will has the big possibility to redirect to Google.co.uk. This is because Google would read our browser or computer language setting. If your computer for example has the China language setting you will has big possibility to redirect to Chine Google Site.
The search result for Google.co.uk and Google.com will be different. They will show you the most relevant and nearest location for your searching. In a case it has been reported that SEO work for unsuitable server location for a website will result in less success. Then after moving the server location to the proper location it has the good result.
In some cases this matter may has different result. But for easily work it still good for you to choose the server location based on your targeted visitor.
